Usage of the Molds

Our EPP/EPS/EPO/ETPU foam moulding tools are intensively used for production of electronics packaging, technical equipment and instrument packaging, food and beverage thermal insulation packaging, transport packaging, medical equipment and devices, air conditioning structural foam parts, automotive components and interiors, sport helmets and other protective gear, rc hobby model planes, child toys, ultra boost foam insoles/midsoles, etc.

Info Required

For exportation EPP/EPS/EPO/ETPU mold toolings, before quote the tooling prices, you need to provide us below detailed information:

1,inform type of mold (EPP mold, EPS mold, EPO mold, ETPU mold)

2,send foam part drawing (in format: IGS, IGES, STP, STEP, X_T, SLDPRT, SLDASM, DWG, DXF, PDF,etc)

3,inform foam density (20g/L to 120g/L )

4,inform shrinkage ratio ( %)

5,send detailed type of molding machine and its tech data (it should be shown in PDF file drawing or DWG/DXF drawing including diamensions of mould frame, diamensions of core/cavity/back plates, quantity and diamensions of screw holes on the frame and plates, etc)

6, detailed diamentions of mould components (ejector guide, ejector pin, leader pin, support bar, filling gun/feeder, water pipe connector/joint, steam/air inlet, markings, etc)

7, send customer's existent molding machine/mould pictures for our reference, if possible

8, inform mould tooling material Type: foundry aluminum alloy or 6061/7075 aluminum alloy material

1. What's your typical procedures of OEM production business?
--Customer send us RFQ, material requirement, foam density, color, quantity, etc;
--Customer send the required part's 3D model, design drawing file, or sample;
--PMPF sales and engineers checking customers' drawing file/samples, offer feedback on design and                  suggestion, provide quotation for mold tooling and parts;
--Customer confirm the prices and agree to start mold tooling process;
--PMPF starts mold tooling and prepare raw material for first sample part run;
--Mold tooling completed, first sample run started and send samples to customer for approval;
--Customer's approval of samples and arrange mass production;
--PMPF starts mass production;
--Customer pay off all related cost

--Material purchasing: 5-7days;
--Mold tooling: 20-25days;
--First samples: 3-5days.

--Software: UG NX10.0, ProE 5.0, Creo 3.0, Solidworks, AutoCad;
